Job summary

Price Rite in Windsor, CT is hiring a Part Time Perishable Clerk (PRRC CT) to price, stock and rotate merchandise while delivering accurate, friendly checkout service. You will scan items, process payments and maintain neat, safe departments in line with company standards.

Team members are cross-trained across departments, learn a variety of roles, and are encouraged to grow within Price Rite while supporting our purpose to help customers eat well and be happy.

Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to read, write, speak English; basic math; ability to make change; stand/walk for shift; adhere to health and safety regulations; operate department equipment (case cutter, U-Boats, slicing machine); lift 25 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs; provide superior service; maintain neat appearance; work with diverse product types.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Price, stock and rotate merchandise in any department; provide accurate checkout service.
• Scan items, collect payment and provide correct change.
• Assist in price changes and product replenishment as directed by department managers.
• Follow safety and QA standards and operate equipment safely.
