Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated associate to provide quality customer service in the Perishable Department. You will help maintain fresh product displays, rotate stock, and assist customers with recommendations.

This role emphasizes fast, friendly service, adherence to food safety guidelines, and teamwork with others to ensure a positive shopping experience. Physical requirements include standing most of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic customer service in the Perishable Department to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and related sections.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure proper storage and display of merchandise.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
