Job summary

Food City is seeking a Produce Associate to support daily operations in the produce department. You will greet customers, provide prompt service, and help maintain fresh, attractive displays for the store’s mission to Run the Best Store in Town.

You will assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, display, and daily sanitation, while ensuring food safety policies are followed and work areas remain neat and compliant.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• On-site attendance per schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to support the store mission.
• Assist produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products.
• Maintain freshness and quality by rotating merchandise and trimming produce.
• Follow food safety policies and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Support training and onboarding of new associates as directed.
