Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company's mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
2. Maintaining a positive attitude and creating an atmosphere of friendliness and fun through flexibility and teamwork.
3. Greeting and speaking to customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
4. Assisting the produce manager in ordering, receiving, and displaying all products for processing.
5. Rotating all merchandise during stocking to ensure freshness and quality.
6. Setting up and maintaining the cut vegetable and fruit sections, trimming corn, and packaging salad tomatoes as directed by the Produce Manager.
7. Following all food safety policies and procedures.
8. Ordering supplies as directed by the Produce Manager.
9. Training fresh pack associates as directed by the Produce Manager.
10. Maintaining the quality and freshness of all fresh pack products.
11. Ensuring all items requiring COOL labels are maintained daily.
12. Enforcing the company food safety program.
13. Trimming and packaging fresh produce.
14. Keeping the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
15. Sanitizing and cleaning the department at least twice a day.
16. Attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Qualifications include:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact with various individuals daily.
• Reliable attendance during scheduled shifts.
