Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Team Member for our prepared foods and rotisserie chicken area in Rochester, MN. You will assist in preparing, wrapping, labeling, and storing fresh food items, keeping shelves clean and compliant with freshness standards, and helping customers with bakery orders.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, follow recipes, and adapt to changing work scenarios while delivering excellent member service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain knowledge of product specifications related to prepared foods; collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools and tasks.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications; plan for seasonality and ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Be a Techie: use handheld devices to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and train others.
• Be an Owner: manage the area, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, and reduce waste.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: represent the department and model high-quality service and products.”
