Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. in Shakopee, MN is hiring for a Team Member in our prepared foods section. You will prepare fresh food items daily, follow recipes, and ensure rotisserie chicken and other items are ready for members to take home.

You will wrap, label, and store merchandise while keeping the area clean and stocked. You will assist customers with bakery orders, adapt to changing tasks, and use digital tools to improve the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of product specifications related to prepared foods and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food while ensuring quality and safety standards
• Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates and dispose of unsuitable items
• Assist customers with bakery orders and provide high-quality service to members
• Stock and rotate merchandise, manage waste, and maintain a clean, customer-ready area
