Price Rite of Bethlehem in Bethlehem, PA is hiring a Part Time Stocking Clerk. You will price, stock, rotate merchandise and provide friendly checkout service, helping maintain neat, clean departments and accurate scanning.

You will learn multiple departments, support cross-training, and join a team focused on safety, presentation, and customer service. The position offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling and store-perks.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required.
• Basic math skills required for checkout.
• Ability to make change with US currency.
• Standing/walking for shift duration expected.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Operate department equipment as needed.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Dress according to policy (white shirt, dark pants, apron, name badge).
• Ability to handle a variety of fresh, dried and processed products without allergic reactions.
• Tolerance to dust and cleaning agents.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to climb ladders for overhead items.
• Meet scheduling and attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, organized and safe work areas.
• Sanitation and QA standards for departments.
• Check products received against invoices.
• Operate slicing machine and related equipment.
• Prepare and replenish products for sale.
• Follow safety and QA procedures at all times.
• Greet customers and provide courteous service.
• Follow receiving, dating, pricing and stock rotation procedures.
• Comply with regulations and company policies.
• Keep displays stocked and properly turned.
• Manage freshness, quality and temperature of products.
• Understand cash register operation and cash handling.
• Scan products and provide correct payments and change.
• Handle damaged or returns per policy.
• Be HazCom aware and safe around chemicals.
• Check refrigeration equipment performance.
• Retrieve carts and operate necessary equipment.
• Complete required training and adhere to age policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
