Job summary

Price Rite of Paterson is seeking a Stocking Clerk to price, stock, and rotate merchandise in the Grocery Department while maintaining a clean, safe, and visually appealing area. You’ll interact with customers and uphold company policies to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires standing for shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion, and following safety protocols. Training is provided, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and friendly service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to stand/walk during shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Experience in customer service is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays faced.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Take responsibility for opening cartons and rotating products.
• Support overall department sanitation and QA standards.
