Job summary

Price Rite in Scranton is seeking a part-time Stocking Clerk to help price, stock, and rotate merchandise while maintaining neat, clean, and visually appealing departments. You will assist customers, operate a slicing machine and related equipment, and support checkout operations with accurate payments and friendly service.

Requirements include basic math, ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to safety standards. Training is provided; 18+ years old required for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for shifts.
• Able to meet health and safety regulations.
• Able to operate department equipment as required (e.g., slicer, baler).
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Price, stock, and rotate merchandise across departments.
• Provide accurate, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Scan products, collect payment, and provide correct change.
