H-E-B is seeking a Food Service Representative to maintain a well-stocked department and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include preparing, packaging, and merchandising fresh products daily, while ensuring food safety standards are met across Bakery, Deli, and Prepared Foods sections.

You will assist customers, take orders, and use product knowledge to suggest items, helping to boost department sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of computer systems and equipment (e.g., PC, symbol, scales, label machine).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reading and writing skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service and take orders from customers by telephone or in person.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product daily.
• Slice, package, label, rotate, and cull products for quality.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and drive department sales.
• Clean and sanitize display cases and maintain equipment; follow food safety standards.
• Assist in bakery, deli, and prepared foods tasks as needed.
