Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member for our Prepared Foods team in Connecticut. You will prepare, serve, and stock prepared foods, while ensuring a friendly, efficient customer experience and strict adherence to health and safety standards.

You will work on the floor with regular interaction with customers and Team Members, supporting store programs and upholding WFM quality goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates and rotates stock.
• Assists Team Leader with organization and merchandising of items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and stocking procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe, sanitary work and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations promptly.
