Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service and help maintain clean, well‑stocked departments. You will share product knowledge, greet customers, and assist with merchandising in Fresh areas while following safety standards.

You'll work with various teams across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to ensure a welcoming store environment and efficient operations. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Engage customers and help them find what they need.
• Maintain attractive product displays and proper stock levels.
• Rotate and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use store tech to complete tasks accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with departments across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
