Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, and ensure displays are fresh and well‑organized in a fast-paced store environment.

You’ll work with teammates across departments, using store technology to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
