Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, helpful service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and help ensure a clean, well‑stocked store environment.

This role emphasizes physical activity, teamwork, and the ability to use store technology to complete tasks efficiently while following safety and sanitation procedures. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
