Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. In this role you will greet customers, help them find products, maintain clean, appealing displays, stock and rotate items, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently.

You should be customer-focused with strong listening and communication skills, able to follow safety standards, and comfortable physical activity such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
