Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You’ll provide product knowledge, assist guests, and maintain clean, appealing displays while handling stock and merchandising tasks.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly, customer-first mindset, strong communication, and comfort using store technology. This role requires physical activity and attentiveness to safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find items.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
