Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and maintain clean, inviting displays while stocking and merchandising according to company standards.

This role requires a friendly, customer-first mindset, the ability to use store technology, and physical stamina for a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, well-run store experience in Fresh departments.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
