Stauffers of Kissell Hill is seeking a part-time Team Member for our Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods location in East Hempfield Township, PA. The position requires day and weekend availability between 7am and 5pm, with wages at $14.00 per hour.

You will assist with bagging groceries, cash handling, and keeping the checkout area and store promotions running smoothly while learning on-the-job skills in a family-owned environment.

Competenze

• Basic arithmetic skills for cash handling and pricing.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as part of stocking tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Bags groceries.
• Collects cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash transactions.
• Counts money in cash drawer at beginning and end of work shift.
• Follows procedure for all processes on register systems.
• Gathers and stocks grocery carts in the prescribed manner, where applicable.
• Is knowledgeable regarding Fresh Foods and Home & Garden pricing procedures.
• Promotes special store events, following company procedures.
• Records daily transaction amounts from cash register to balance cash drawer.
• Records prices and departments, subtotals taxable items, and totals purchases on cash register.
• Reviews sales fliers weekly to be aware of advertised specials.
• May perform Online Shopper duties.

Wage: $14.00 an hour
