Job summary

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is seeking a part-time Team Member for our Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods location. The shift is 6am–3pm with weekend flexibility; you will help pack fruit baskets, stock displays, and assist customers with orders.

This role requires working in cool temperatures and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs; on-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for career growth within the family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Part-time availability, 6am–3pm, with flexible weekends.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and work in cold environments.

Responsibilities

• Pack fruit baskets as needed.
• Replenish ice to display cases and display areas.
• Clean department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and display cases; keep products and supplies organized.
• Operate equipment if over 18 years of age.
• Operate price scale and update price tags as needed in coordination with scan department.
• Prepare and promote department samples.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise; clear floor of restocking equipment and debris.
• Prepare, package, and rotate product according to departmental guidelines.
• Set and sign displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Take and process customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time.
• Take inventory or examine merchandise regularly to identify items needing to be reordered or replenished.

Responsibilities

• Packs fruit baskets as needed.
• Replenishes ice to the display cases, where applicable.
• Cleans department area, including equipment, containers, storage areas, aisles, and displaycases; keeping products and supplies well organized..
• Operates equipment, if needed (if over 18 years of age).
• Operates price scale with knowledge of current prices. Prices or changes price tags onmerchandise referring to price list and in coordination with scan department.
• Prepares and promotes department samples.
• Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoice againstitems received. Promptly clears floor of all restocking equipment and debris.
• Prepares, packages, and rotates product according to departmental guidelines.
• Sets and signs displays of merchandise to attract customers and promote sales.
• Takes and processes customer orders according to customer request ensuring that product is ready on time
• Takes inventory or examines merchandise on a regular basis, to identify items needing to bereordered or replenished.

Qualifications

• While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to cold temperatures whileworking in or around the coolers.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs.
