Job summary

CP Fresh is part of Charlie’s Produce, creating fresh-cut, ready-to-eat products in a on-site facility. The role focuses on assembling and packaging items while upholding the highest standards of quality, sanitation, and food safety. The team works in a fast-paced environment with a 4:00am–12:30pm shift and weekend availability is required.

You will join a cross-functional production team, ensure accurate weight and labeling, and participate in training and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must multitask and work independently.
• Stand for extended periods in a fast-paced plant.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in a production setting.
• Knowledge of vegetables and produce.
• Experience in production, warehouse, or food processing.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.
• Ability to complete paperwork.
• Knowledge of scales.
• Excellent communication.
• Work in wet and cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble salad kits, salsas, and fresh-cut items per specs.
• Inspect quality for freshness, color, temperature and size.
• Operate line equipment safely and maintain a clean workstation.
• Report quality issues and allergens; rotate stock properly.
• Assist in training new associates and cross-train in other areas.
• Maintain production pace to meet truck deadlines.
