Job summary

Charlie's Produce is seeking an on-site production associate to assemble, inspect, and package ready-to-eat items in a fast-paced environment. You will operate line equipment, maintain sanitation standards, and support QA and allergen control while keeping a clean workstation.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical production tasks.
• Multitask and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a production environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of vegetable and produce.
• Previous production, warehouse, or food processing experience.
• Reliable attendance and teamwork.
• Ability to complete paperwork.
• Knowledge of scales.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in wet and cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble salad kits, salsa, and fresh-cut produce items per specs.
• Inspect quality for freshness, color, size, and temperature.
• Operate line equipment safely (scales, conveyors, labelers).
• Maintain clean workstation following GMPs.
• Report quality issues to lead or QA.
• Rotate stock so older products are used first.
• Assist in prepping, decanting, sorting, or reworking items.
• Count and weigh ingredients and compare to recipe.
• Ensure orders meet production timelines.
• Support allergen control and proper storage.
• Participate in training and cross-training.
• Record production paperwork.
