Job summary

Asda is seeking a Fresh Manager to lead the Fresh department in our store. You will ensure optimal stock availability and top shop floor standards while managing waste and date code compliance to keep the store safe and compliant for customers and colleagues.

You will guide the team, implement trading activity, and drive the store's selling agenda with strong leadership, communication and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• What you’ll need: Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shrink agenda through your Fresh team, driving standards and inputs as well as acting on opportunities with clear actions.
• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
• Engage and coach your team to continuously improve routine and process while delivering a customer focused shopping experience.
• Drive store selling through on-brief shopfloor, promotions and timely execution.
