You will supervise and develop produce associates and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, teamwork, and bringing a customer-first mindset to every display and interaction, while maintaining top-notch department presentation.

Qualificações

• Experience in fresh produce retail or grocery merchandising.
• Ability to lead a fast-paced, high-volume department.
• Strong customer service and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of the Produce Department with a focus on freshness, quality, and customer service.
• Train, coach, and develop produce associates while maintaining a positive team environment.
• Execute merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets, and promotional displays.
• Maintain fresh, visually appealing produce displays at all times.
• Manage product rotation, remove damaged or unsellable items, and maintain freshness standards.
• Order, receive, inspect, and store product following food safety and rotation guidelines.
• Manage shrink through inventory controls, root-cause identification, and waste-reduction strategies.
• Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs.
