Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk in Las Vegas to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain a clean, well‑presented deli area. You’ll operate slicers, handle food safely, and support packing and special orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 20 feet without aid for up to 4 hours.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department and sanitize work areas.
• Operate slicer and other deli equipment; maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.
• Work in cooler and freezer environments.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and displayed.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; sweep and sanitize.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
