The role involves operating slicers and other deli equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and working flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, friendly with a positive attitude and customer-focused.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness.
• Fill, rotate, and display products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and in accordance with standards.
• Maintain clean, safe deli area and closely monitor cleanliness of equipment.
• Receive and log product shipments ensuring temperature and quality.
