Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; or related experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.

• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Must lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; follow safety regulations.
• Operate deli equipment safely; adhere to Weights and Measures standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options by preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Rotate products and displays and fulfill special orders/party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves and scales per company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for quality and temperature.
