Sprouts Farmers Market in Sacramento is seeking a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh, easy meals. You’ll maintain deli displays, assist with special orders, and keep the area clean and safe while operating deli equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected. Benefits are offered and DailyPay is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, with grocery/restaurant experience or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Be dependable, reliable, and customer friendly with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to answer phones, take special orders, and lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the deli area remains clean and sanitary.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory requirements including Food Handlers permit.
