Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods and welcome customers with friendly service. You will help customers choose deli meats, cheeses and grab-and-go items, while maintaining clean, well-stocked displays and accurate labeling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food and assist customers selecting deli items.
• Slice meats, assemble and portion deli products, and prep grab-and-go items.
• Stock displays, maintain cleanliness, and ensure product freshness and temperature.
• Operate registers, handle transactions, and manage accurate labeling and pricing.
