Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk in Texas to assist customers with healthy meal options and to prepare, package, and present deli items with care. You will rotate and display products, handle special orders, and operate slicers and other deli equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

You will need a friendly attitude, reliable work ethic, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Dependable with a friendly, customer-focused attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, while keeping the area clean.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicers, ovens, microwaves) safely and maintain equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary deli area and equipment; log receipts and ensure product quality.
