Price Rite Johnston is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to price, stock and rotate merchandise while providing friendly checkout service. You will scan items, handle payments, and maintain clean, organized departments to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include following safety and QA standards, operating basic equipment, and assisting customers with courtesy and efficiency in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English clearly and understand basic math.
• Ability to perform basic math and make change with cash.
• Provide courteous, accurate checkout and customer service.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment and follow store policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, and safe work environments across departments.
• Price, stock and rotate merchandise with attention to display quality.
• Operate cash register, scan items, and handle payments accurately.
• Assist in receiving and stocking procedures and use equipment safely.
• Follow QA and safety standards, including proper glove use and hygiene.
• Adhere to dress code and present a neat, professional appearance.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Resume duties as directed by supervisors.
