Job summary

Price Rite of Worcester is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to maintain a clean, well-organized department, price and stock merchandise, and provide friendly checkout service. You will operate slicing equipment and assist customers with their purchases, while adhering to QA and safety standards.

This role requires 18+ to operate certain equipment, with a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends; weekly hours typically 12-25.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills and cash handling ability.
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied temperatures.
• Ability to follow safety, QA, and health regulations.
• Strong customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized department; price and stock merchandise.
• Provide accurate, friendly checkout service and assist customers.
• Operate slicing equipment and related tools safely.
• Follow approved procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, and product rotation.
