Job summary

Ridleys Family Markets Inc in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a Produce Fresh Cut Clerk to maintain outstanding guest service, prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the cut fruit area, and support the store management team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food preparation, produce department and retail store experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills, organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service.
• Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the fresh cut sales area; ensure quality and adequate quantity.
• Comply with all food safety rules and regulations.
• Operate related equipment (pallet jack, hand truck, knives, scales, etc.).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Assist in training and developing peers; provide courteous guest interactions.
• Uphold merchandising and department cleanliness; maintain orderly department appearance.
• Perform duties safely, accurately and with integrity.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by store or department management.
