Reports to: Produce Department Manager/Fresh Cut Manager

This role involves ensuring our guests have access to delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters for daily life, gatherings, or special occasions. Your efforts in keeping our fresh cut department stocked and ready will encourage guests to return, trusting us for their entertaining needs.

What You’ll Do: As a Fresh Cut Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities include:

• Maintain Freshness: Keep stock levels appropriate by observing sales and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed.
• Provide Exceptional Service: Deliver outstanding service to all guests, assist with finding products, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Keep work areas, shelving, and sales floors organized and sanitized.
• Monitor Quality & Food Safety: Meet quality standards, maintain food safety logs, and meet quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm.
• Honor Commitments: Attend work as scheduled and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with guests, team members, and leaders using strong verbal and written skills.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies, proper lifting techniques, and equipment safety.
• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate equipment like power jacks, lifts, and balers.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand for long periods, work in coolers, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• Full upper body mobility to lift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Visual and sensory abilities to monitor displays and operate equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule: The position can be part-time or full-time.
