Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Fresh Financial Analyst to lead analytics for the Fresh department, driving financial targets and P&L performance. You will guide refinement analyses, project performance metrics, and partner with Category & Merchandising teams to optimize results.

You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, and variance analyses, coordinating monthly and quarterly recaps while mentoring the CMP analyst team.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of analytics experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Fresh or Center Store categories.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business/related field.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel macros and PowerPoint emphasis.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy, SharePoint, Access, Essbase/Smart View, or SEGA.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics for the Fresh department and support P&L targets.
• Develop financial targets and projections for sales, margin, and vendor allowances.
• Coordinate ROI analyses and monthly/quarterly financial recaps.
• Partner with Merchandising and Strategy teams to improve results.
• Provide guidance to CMP analyst team and mentoring support.
