Job summary

Lowe’s in Mooresville, NC is seeking an analyst to join our Finance team as a financial subject matter expert. Based at our corporate headquarters, you will translate complex plans into quarterly forecasts and annual budgets while developing scorecards and business cases.

You will collaborate with Finance peers, support long-range plans and provide proactive insights to optimize performance using Excel and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; relevant experience acceptable in lieu of education.
• 1 year of experience in a finance or analytical role within a public company or accounting firm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience providing analytical support to business teams.

Responsibilities

• Supports Senior and Lead Analysts by maintaining templates, systems, and other tools for quarterly forecast updates, annual plans, and long-range plans (2–3 years).
• Updates operating, program, and business unit scorecards and supports analysis commentary for scorecard updates.
• Compiles data for root cause analysis, test & learn, and financial modeling; assists with analyses.
• Completes work using up-to-date subject knowledge, policy understanding, data resources, and cross-functional collaboration to address improvements.
• Develops performance insights and fosters effective relationships with coworkers and business partners; adapts to change.
