Job summary

Elsevier is seeking an HR Shared Service Advisor to provide centralized HR support across time off, leave policies, and country benefits. You will handle HR transactions, maintain records in Workday, and collaborate with HRBPs and COEs to improve service delivery.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in a multinational HR service environment; fluency in English and French is required, with knowledge of labor laws in France, Germany, or Spain considered a plus.

• At least 3 years in HR service center or similar in a multinational.
• Fluent in English; French as a second language.
• Knowledge of local labor laws in France, Germany, or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver centralized HR support covering time off, leave policies, and country-specific benefits.
• Respond to HR inquiries and elevate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (Workday) with data integrity and security.
• Guide employees on self-service tools for HR transactions and information.
• Collaborate with HRBP, COEs, and external vendors to improve processes and standards.
• Identify issues and opportunities for service center improvement and reporting.
• Participate in training to enhance HR service delivery skills.
• Engage with regional shared services teams to share best practices.
• Support internal and external audits related to HR operations.
