Job summary

Side is seeking a Localization QA Game Tester to join our multilingual QA team. You will be the first to see fully localized game content, ensuring grammar, cultural accuracy, and consistency across text, UI, and imagery.

You will log issues, propose improvements, and support cross-regional collaboration on top gaming titles. You will work within a global project team to validate localization quality, ensure context-accurate translations, and maintain consistency with platform guidelines.

Qualifications

• Fluent French is required.
• Conversational English is required.
• Strong cultural understanding of the target language.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication within teams.
• Good internet research skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a global project team.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
• Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
