Job summary
Side is seeking a Localization QA Game Tester to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. You will be the first to experience localized builds, checking translated text, images, and UI for linguistic and cultural accuracy across platforms.
No previous game QA needed; fluent Italian and conversational English required. You will collaborate with global teams, log issues, verify display of dates and characters, and help ensure our games meet the highest localization standards for a worldwide
Qualifications
- No experience required; must be fluent in Italian and conversational in English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language and audience.
- Proficient computer literacy and Excel knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a global project team to QA localization.
- Identify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and language errors.
- Ensure localization adheres to console guidelines and context.
- Log errors and provide improvement suggestions with context.
- Verify translations display correctly across dates, calendars, and characters.
- Produce reports on bugs and support ad hoc translations.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and imagery across languages.
