Job summary

Social Factor is a social media agency focused on human connection, seeking project-based moderators with French language expertise. You’ll help build and nurture digital communities for top brands with flexible, part-time or temporary engagement.

Requirements include native-level French, moderation experience, and ability to mirror brand voice across major platforms. AI use is encouraged for practice but not during live interviews.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of French language
• Deep understanding of French pop culture, nomenclature, slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice and engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience required; live stream moderation a plus
• Sprinklr, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience are pluses
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; follow clear guidelines/workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication; mirror voice/tone of brands
• Excellent spelling/grammar; language tests for final candidates
• High energy with ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Interact with users in real-time; troubleshoot discussions
• Knowledge of major platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with Windows 10 and macOS 12.x; fast internet

If you are a US-based or UK-based , Social Media Community Moderator, we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for project based, temporary or part-time work moderators working in English and French. The Community Moderator role will work to develop strong, growing, digital communities for some of the world's most well-known brands as work becomes available.

Temporary Language Community Moderator Requirements:

• Native-level understanding of French language
• Deep understanding of respective language pop culture, nomenclature, cultural references, and slang
• Able to understand client's brand voice & accurately engage with users
• Previous social media moderation experience is required and live stream moderation is a plus
• Sprinklr certification, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience is also a plus
• Exceptional organizational, multitasking abilities, and able to follow clear guidelines and workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to mirror voice/tone of multiple brands)
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills (skills and/or language test will be given for final candidates)
• Strong willingness to learn and think critically; a proactive approach
• High energy with the capability to multitask in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization
• Interact with users in real-time, answering questions and appropriately engaging in discussion and troubleshooting efforts
• Knowledge of and experience with the major social media platforms: Youtube, FB, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
• Personal computer with minimum of Windows 10 and macOS 12.X
• Personal internet speed requirement of a minimum of 150 mbps
