Job summary

R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking Train Crew Members in Dayton, TX to join our team. You will assist in the safe daily operation of trains, operate equipment, and work in yard and on the road.

Candidates must have basic reading and math skills, a valid driver’s license, and preferably an FRA Engineer certification. This is a full-time, on-site position with medical, dental, vision, and PTO benefits, plus retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have driver's license.
• Preferred to have active FRA Engineer certification.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to read and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all phases of the safe daily operation of trains.
• Operates equipment per company policies including safety and DOT requirements.
• Works on yard and road trains, coupling cars and tracking track switches.
• Reviews dispatch instructions and coordinates with train crew and yardmasters.
• Performs multiple tasks safely and supports locomotive engineering duties as needed.
