Job summary

Amnex Solutions Corp is seeking a Freight Sales Representative in Chicago, IL to own cradle-to-grave freight lifecycle from prospecting to billing. You will develop new shipper accounts, negotiate pricing, and build lasting relationships with carriers to ensure service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in freight brokerage or logistics sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with TMS, load boards, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in freight brokerage or logistics sales.
• Proven ability to source, close, and manage freight independently.
• Strong knowledge of OTR, intermodal, or drayage operations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiar with TMS, load boards, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new shipper accounts across OTR and drayage segments.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements to ensure competitive lanes.
• Manage loads from start to finish: quoting, booking, tracking, invoicing.
• Source and vet carriers; ensure safety and insurance compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers; provide load updates.
