Ashley Distribution Holdings is seeking a Freight Records Supervisor to lead a team responsible for imaging, conversion, and records management across Ashley’s organization.

The role focuses on accuracy, accessibility, and compliance while driving efficiency, quality, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Office-based in Mississippi with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in operations or records management.
  • Experience with document imaging or electronic records systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of document imaging specialists responsible for converting hard-copy records into digital formats.
  • Oversee document conversion services, data accuracy, system support activities, and project coordination.
  • Monitor workloads and allocate resources to maximize productivity and service levels.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality standards, and record retention requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to document management systems and business processes.
  • Support the implementation, administration, and ongoing effectiveness of electronic records management solutions.
  • Manage employee performance through coaching, development, performance reviews, and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling practices to support business operations.
  • Partner with leadership to communicate departmental goals, priorities, and organizational updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer service.

Summary

Ashley Distribution Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Freight Records Supervisor to lead a team responsible for document imaging, records management, and document conversion services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and integrity of business records while supporting operational and compliance needs across the organization. The Freight Records Supervisor provides daily leadership to a team of imaging specialists, drives process improvements, and oversees electronic document management systems and related automation tools.

Qualifications Required
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience leading teams and managing business processes.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational or records management environment preferred.

Work Environment
  • This position is located in a climate-controlled office environment with standard lighting and moderate noise levels typical of professional workspace settings. The role primarily involves sitting at a desk for extended periods while working with computers, phones, and other office equipment. The collaborative environment includes interaction with team members and may require attendance at meetings, conference calls, and cross-departmental communications during regular business hours.
