Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries in the United States is seeking an Operations Supervisor who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environments. You’ll lead and develop frontline teams, optimize workflows, and uphold safety and quality in daily operations.

You will coach staff, monitor performance, and collaborate with leaders to keep production flowing smoothly and to meet distribution goals. This role combines hands-on leadership with process improvement in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 1+ years in a leadership role within operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience in distribution or warehouse environments is a major plus.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and team development skills.

Work Environment

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
