The role emphasizes robust inspection processes to protect margins and uphold safety standards across the Milwaukee network. In this position, you will inspect inbound and outbound shipments, collaborate with dock operations, and drive corrective actions with terminal teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in freight operations, inspections, or a related logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of freight classification, weight/density principles, and inspection processes preferred.
• Proficiency with personal computers, including email, spreadsheets, and database systems.
• Experience with AS/400 or industry-specific systems preferred.
• Advanced mathematical capabilities, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Ability to create reports, document procedures, and clearly communicate findings.
• Experience handling sensitive business and customer data with a high degree of confidentiality.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations, management, and customer-facing teams.
