Qualifications

• - High School diploma or GED required.
• - 2–3 years of freight operations/inspections experience.
• - Strong freight classification & weight/density knowledge.
• - PC proficiency: email, spreadsheets, databases.
• - AS/400 or industry systems preferred.
• - Advanced math skills for statistics & data interpretation.
• - Ability to document procedures and communicate findings.
• - Experience handling confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Execute shipment inspection and revenue capture; identify reweigh, reclass, and revenue recovery opportunities.
• Document changes based on inspections and dimensioning.
• Ensure proper tariff application and density calculations.
• Maintain inspection standards to protect revenue integrity.
• Lead quality inspections to improve load quality and reduce service failures.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and terminal leadership.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection tools and safety standards.
• Provide feedback to ensure cross-functional alignment and drive actions.
