Job summary

Benshaw, Inc. is seeking a Freight Packager to prepare items for shipment at the Pittsburgh site. The role involves picking, inspecting, packing, labeling, and safeguarding goods for transport, with a Monday–Friday schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include palletizing, boxing, and ensuring accurate weights and dimensions, plus operating a forklift or crane when required and loading trucks. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse 2 years (preferred).
• Shipping or receiving 1 year (preferred).
• Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing a variety of programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares large, palletized Freight for shipment, including banding and shrink wrap.
• Boxes and foam-midsized items for freight shipment.
• Packages for all web stock builds and inventories shipping supplies.
• Builds pallets when needed and marks weights and dims on units.
• Operates forklift/crane when necessary and loads trucks.
• Offloads, visually inspects, and signs BOL/delivery receipts.
