Job summary

The successful candidate will coordinate the freight movement and ensure efficient operations, manage drivers and dockworkers, and maintain communication with all stakeholders. Qualifications

• Understanding of routing and movement of freight in an error-free manner.
• Ability to compile production and service records.
• Skills in communication with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and implement methods and procedures.
• Compile production and service records and measure conformance to standards.
• Set up appointment freight deliveries.
• Inspect and measure performance of personnel.
• Assist with training and development of personnel.
• Ensure that Service Center premises are protected and maintained.

Skills

Knowledge of the LTL/ Transportation Industry

Experience managing Drivers and Dockworkers

Knowledge of the geographical area surrounding the Service Center
