Job summary

XPO is hiring a Freight Operations Supervisor in Allentown, PA to lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations, developing procedures and coaching staff to meet production goals and safety standards.

The role requires 2 years of related warehouse experience, knowledge of LTL and DOT regulations, and the ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Competitive pay with day-one benefits available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
