Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations within our West Valley City, UT facility.

You will develop procedures to meet evolving department needs, assign workloads, and ensure safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 2 years of relevant experience, LTL and DOT regulation knowledge, and the ability to manage shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and be the primary point of contact for workplace concerns.
