Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support store operations by receiving shipments, shipping merchandise, backroom maintenance and routine cleaning. The role emphasizes accuracy, guest service, and efficient packaging.

Responsibilities include verifying invoices, processing FedEx orders, managing packing slips, and keeping shipment records organized. A part-time schedule may apply, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices vs items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Ensure items match what is being shipped out.
• Fold, tag, hang, and present merchandise for the sales floor; steam when needed.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork and backroom organization.
• Operate POS software and process store transfers and shipments.
• Monitor for security risks and promptly report concerns.
